Nissan DataScan I for Android Features:

This application supports both, petrol and diesel cars. It communicates with the engine ECU using Consult II protocol. It uses the same communication protocol as the dealer diagnostic tool. This protocol is far more comprehensive than the generic OBDII or ISO9141 protocol.

The current version of the app has following functions:

• Data Display with data logging
• Self Diagnostics
• Dash Display with customisable gauges
• Video Recorder

The video recorder function saves an mp4 video file with accompanying data log file. An Overlay software such as RaceRender can then be used to generate videos with custom data visualization.

If you would like to test the application for compatibility with your car, try the free Lite version

High Quality Cables and USB cable adapter

Posted by Unknown on 24th Feb 2018

So far this item has worked perfectly. The cables are very nice and thick. The only thing is that my bro was able to find the blue tooth edition in some other website for less than what i paid for this unit(cables were NOT included). The OBD innovations person helping me was very nice and answered my questions promptly. Even though I paid more i am satisfied with my purchase. Most importantly i was able to fix my 240sx because of this unit.

    Requirement to daily a 240sx!

Buy it. Need reasons? Read below.

Already chased down my idle missfire (TPS floating signal at idle), sudden power drops (MAFS voltage spike 2->4v) and sudden systematic missfire (Watched O2 sensor smack lean every 4th cyl, pointing me straight to fuel injector)

Paid for itself over and over with REAL TIME DIAGNOSTICS. A must have for any DIY / Enthusiast. Don't cheap out on the adapter, I wasted 10+ hrs on an old eBay one and never got it to work.. my time is worth more than $3/hr! Buy through OBDInnovations and get up and datalogging by next week!!

I recommend this to every 240sx 1991+ owner I meet. Also beware 1996 Z32 owners, these cables are hit or miss for the obd2 transition year. Still worth having in the toolbox regardless. Single cam 1989-1990 s13 needs wires extended off ecu and consult connector purchased/reused from junkyard - BUT CAN WORK

    OBD

Works great , only issue is that it will only power up if you have it hook up with the mini USB cable. Email them and was told it should have power from my OBD port from my car. Never got it to work that way. It only work when powered by the USB cable. Overall it work fine with my laptop when hooking up thru the USB cable. Should have gotten the Bluetooth version.

I bought this for my SR20DET S13, and it works perfect!!! The only downside is that it does not charge your android device when connected.
