KKL OBD2 USB Interface Cable with FTDI FT232RL Chip

(1 review) Write a Review

The KKL OBD2 USB Interface is a cost effective diagnostics and reprogramming tool compatible with the ISO9141 and KWP2000 communication protocols found on many vehicles and motorcycles and is compatible with a wide range of 3rd party diagnostic software. Our high quality KKL USB Interfaces use the reliable and widely supported FTDI FT232RL chip and has the most connected pins internally.

Beware of other VAG 409.1/KKL cables that have the cheaper, unreliable CH340 USB/RS232 serial converter chip and a different PCB design that is not compatible with all vehicle applications. These cables look very similar, but are not the same internally.

    Works Great with NDSII

Posted by Jay on 3rd Jan 2017

I bought this cable to use on my Infiniti G35 with the Nissan DataScan II software. It works great and connects to everything with that software. The basic OBDII functionality of NDSII also works with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The cable has a blue LED that lights up as soon as it is connected to a vehicle's OBD2 port.
