Attention Nissan Leaf Owners:

  • We are aware of reports of defective KW902 scanners on the market that have been purchased from Aliexpress and Amazon. These defective scanners use a 20 ohm resistor and a different circuit board and NOT the correct 120 ohm resistor and can cause the CAN BUS to short out. The CAN BUS is used in the leaf not only for reading data, but to control the car. Shorting it out can cause strange behavior, damage and other errors.
